The company - based in California just outside of Los Angeles - implemented a significant change ahead of the New Year by moving its headquarters by 2.4 miles in the City of Rancho Cucamonga to 10700 7th Street from 9020 Rancho Park Court.
The new facility is 60,000 square feet — an increase of 40,000 square feet compared to the company’s outgoing facility on Rancho Park Court. Additionally, ATG is planning on hiring up to 20 new employees over the next 24 months.
“It’s a show of progression for the company to see how ATG is growing within the LED lighting industry,” said Art Tapia, vice president of North and Latin America sales at ATG. “We were determined to find a new location when our demand was frequently greater than our supply.”
In 2015, leadership at ATG determined that based on the company’s business volume, it had outgrown its old space with its warehouse size unable to carry enough inventory to meet daily demand. After the new building was purchased, a logistical plan for the move was launched in September.
“While it took time to complete the moving process and to settle in the new building, the new warehouse and headquarters space has improved productivity and employee engagement,” office manager Nicole Crocker reflected. “The increase in square footage provides ATG with additional meeting rooms, storage areas, larger office spaces, and sizable break rooms.”
The new space also allows ATG to stock higher inventory levels.
“The change in space is a cornerstone for ATG,” Tapia explained. “Our California headquarters has allowed ATG to work closely with distributors and contractors across the Los Angeles region.”
ATG, founded in 2001, offers 20 diverse, eco-friendly and innovative LED lighting products for indoor and outdoor uses to the marketplace. Each product has two or more models with variations on size or wattage. The company also offers two lighting controls products.
Today, ATG provides jobs to a large staff in its accounting, customer service, marketing, sales, and warehouse departments working in Rancho Cucamonga, a city in proximity to Anaheim, San Diego, and the Inland Empire in addition to servicing Los Angeles.
“Our customers are the reason ATG has experienced immense growth and success,” said Michelle Alipio, marketing coordinator manager at ATG. “We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude towards all who have supported ATG throughout the years.”
