ATG Electronics returned to the Santa Clara Convention Center in March to spotlight its latest advancements in LED lighting during the Strategies in Light trade expo.
The company’s top products—based on customer reaction—include ATG’s troffers (the iBright Recessed Troffer, the iBright Solo Troffer, and the iBright Direct Kit) and high bay products such as the eLucent High Bay, the eLucent 500-watt High Bay and the Stellar Linear High Bay.
“The Strategies in Light event has grown and improved during the years ATG Electronics has attended,” reflected Art Tapia, vice president of North and Latin America sales. “This year’s event met and exceeded ATG’s expectations. Overall, it was a great opportunity to meet with current and potential customers in person. Each opportunity ATG has to reach out to customers further develops our working relationships.”
He continued, “Attendance at Strategies in Light builds ATG’s brand awareness. It’s another way for people to see ATG’s products.”
Strategies in Light is an important show to display products because attendees include product managers at large electrical distributors, engineer specifiers and other lighting professionals and stakeholders.
Booth 518 is set up and ready for a successful Strategies in Light event for ATG Electronics.
“My favorite experience at Strategies in Light was being able to meet face-to-face with current and potential customers of ATG Electronics,” recalled Clinton Weicking, who is an inside sales and support staff member at ATG. “Most conversations with customers are over the phone or via email, so having the face-to-face time strengthens and improves customer relations.”
There were 279 exhibitors at the three-day event, drawing more than 5,500 industry professionals from 73 countries.
“In addition to showing ATG Electronics products to current and potential customers, Strategies in Light is an opportunity to learn about the current trends of the LED lighting industry and where the industry’s future lies,” Weicking said. “During this year’s show, there was a lot of talk about how technology is affecting LED lighting and the expected growth of the LED lighting industry. As more people accept and use LED lights, there is a growing trend to have a connected network with security, lighting and internet.”
ATG was successful in meeting current and potential customers during the course of the three-day trade show. Booth No. 518 kept busy from March 1-3 with steady traffic and the team was successfully able to increase brand and product awareness among distributors, specifiers—and fans.
