ATG Shines at World’s Largest Trade Expo

ATG Electronics showcased its eco-friendly LED lights at LIGHTFAIR® International to fanfare. 

From April 26 to April 28, ATG operated Booth No. 711 at LIGHTFAIR® International in San Diego for the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial light trade show and conference at the city convention center. ATG displayed 11 eco-friendly indoor luminaires, five outdoor luminaires and four controls.

“LIGHTFAIR® International is a one of a kind experience because there are no other trade shows that compare in size and experience,” said Clinton Weicking, who manages inside sales and support at ATG. “This trade show is a great opportunity to meet customers in person, and I had the pleasure of meeting customers and sales representatives for the first time. It was beneficial to meet face to face to demonstrate ATG products, discuss future sales needs, and get feedback on ATG products.” 

“People who visited ATG’s booth during LIGHTFAIR® International became fans of the full product line, including indoor fixtures, outdoor fixtures, and controls. Visually, a lot of visitors commented on the clean and classic look of ATG’s fixtures, which perfectly complemented the lumen and wattage performance of the fixtures,” Weicking added.

 with its largest booth space to date in five years of attendance. 

“It is always refreshing to see brand recognition among professionals in the LED lighting industry,” said Ryan Metzanauer, inside sales associate at ATG. “There were a number of people including potential and current customers that visited the ATG booth during LIGHTFAIR® International 2016 who knew of ATG products and were meeting a sales representative during the trade show.” 

ATG introduced new eco-friendly LED lighting products: the iBright Batten Fixture, the Wireless RF PIR Sensor Control Kit, and the Wireless Intelligent Outdoor Lighting Control System. 

The iBright Batten Fixture is a new and linear fixture perfect for use in retail spaces, conference rooms, and reception areas. Additionally, the introduction of the wireless sensor aligns with current trends for controls in the LED lighting industry. It allows for an easy retrofit installation for offices and warehouses.

“There was a lot of positive feedback from potential and current customers,” Metzanauer explained. “The iBright LED Batten Fixture is a new product that has great versatility for application in retail and executive spaces. The iBright Direct Kit high lumen model is an upgraded product that offers 125 lumens per Watt, which is becoming an industry standard.”

LED lighting is part of a global movement to reduce energy consumption. Rapidly, families, businesses, schools and municipalities around the world are switching to LED lights from conventional lighting systems. 

ATG’s product line focuses on LED light fixtures for commercial settings, including warehouses, corporate offices, retail spaces, healthcare facilities and gas stations. These businesses operate almost on a daily basis where lighting consumption is a large part of energy costs. ATG helps to reduce the energy consumption of businesses and institutions across the country and around the world.

ATG showed its newest products and new wireless sensors at LIGHTFAIR® International. Current and potential customers were able to walk away with all product information in their hands with a new catalog and additional product flyers. 

“I had the pleasure to attend LIGHTFAIR® International and enjoyed the time I spent at the trade show,” said Alex Vann, marketing coordinator assistant. “After working on different marketing projects for the trade show, it was awesome to see ATG’s booth and materials in action. The marketing team worked hard to develop ATG’s brand identity in preparation for this show. It was rewarding to hear great feedback from visitors such as ‘ATG has bright and well-designed products’ and ‘the catalog is informative.”

“It was important to further develop working relationships with current customers as well as begin new relationships with potential customers. Based on the positive feedback and heavy foot traffic during the trade show, ATG will be able to continue the company’s success during 2016,” said Wendell Locklin, ATG’s director of sales and operations. 

ATG’s LED products are easy to install, maintenance-free and environmentally-friendly LED fixtures. All of ATG’s products utilize LED technology with the design of the fixture, number of lumens delivered and wattage used. 

The company’s top-selling eco-friendly products are Stellar Linear High Bay, eLucent Area Light, and iBright™ Solo Troffer. These three products are coated in an environmentally-friendly polyester powder formulated for a durable and long-lasting color. Additionally, no toxic heavy metals, VOC or mercury are used in any of ATG’s products. 

“Each year, LIGHTFAIR® International brings together professionals from around the globe in the lighting industry including engineers, sales representatives, marketers, facility managers, electricians and distributors,” said Michelle Alipio, marketing coordinator manager at ATG. “It was a fantastic opportunity for the company to showcase its new LED fixtures and wireless controls.”

The U.S. Department of Energy estimates there will be a 15 percent reduction of lighting energy consumption by 2020; and that number is expected to jump to 40 percent in reduction by 2030.
