ATG Electronics is looking to build upon the growth and success experienced during 2015. ATG started off the New Year at a new headquarters and warehouse facility. Now the company is looking to add new Sales Managers and Customer Service and Sales Support Representatives to meet the growing demand for ATG’s LED lighting products.

Job Title: Sales Manager – Uncapped Commissions


Position Description: ATG Electronics is expanding its sales team and seeking a top performing sales professional with experience in the lighting industry to join us in developing business in the United States. ATG is looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager with experience in building and managing a sales network with local manufacturers’ representatives and distributors. Successful candidates will have strong connections and experience in managing representatives and working with distributors, architects, lighting designers and engineers.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategically build a strong sales network of manufacturers’ representatives and distributors to develop and grow the local business in the territory.

• Coordinate with manufacturers’ representatives, distributors, and others to promote and maintain successful profitable business relationships with current and potential customers.

• Communicate regularly with Headquarters on the sales activity in the territory.

• Monitor and report market information, competitor pricing, product strengths and weaknesses.

• Acquire working knowledge of all ATG LED products and an understanding of their applications

• Provide appropriate training, technical guidance, and assistance regarding product and lighting applications with reps, customers, specifiers, etc.

• Visit customers with frequency to provide excellent technical support and diligent follow up.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry allies as directed.

• Travel and participate in industry trade and marketing events as directed.


Qualifications:

• University or college education preferred

• LC accreditation preferred

• 3+ years in outside lighting sales experience calling architects, distributors,  and contractors 

• Previous track record of success in sales

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision

• Strong communication skills, competitive mindset, and an outgoing personality

• Highly organized with an ability to think strategically about territory organization and management

• A team player with integrity who is willing to work with the ATG management team


Compensation: Commensurate with experience including Base Salary, Incentive Plan, and Employee Benefit Program. Benefits include: insurance (health, dental, vision, and life), 401 (K) plan with company contribution, Sick and PTO time, FSA savings plans, and product discounts.

Job Title: Customer Service and Sales Support Representative


Position Description: ATG Electronics specializes in the design and development of cutting edge LED solutions. Strongly positioned in a fast growing industry, ATG is looking to build a talented and passionate internal support team to help us grow. This role services both ATG customers and sales managers by providing both product and service information and order entry support.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acquire working knowledge of ATG Electronics, LED technology, and the ATG product line to provide product and service support to customers and ATG sales managers.

• Support ATG Sales Managers with inventory checks, product information, and status checks on sales orders, back orders and RMAs.

• Work with customers and ATG sales managers to resolve product or service problems by clarifying the complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.

• Help collect information from customers to facilitate the RMA process.

• Create and maintain productive, professional relationships with sales managers and customers.

• Proactively process and follow-up on new orders in an accurate, timely and professional manner. 

• Provide support and communication between factories, sales and operations staff, and customers.

• Help develop product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.


Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service and/or a related field with transferable skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including listening and phone skills

• Precise documentation skills, with excellent attention to detail

• Strong ability to multi-task and resolve conflicts

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Driven team player with a competitive edge and a desire to help ATG grow 

• Experience with computer programs including MS Office, email, and ERP systems

• Lighting industry and product knowledge is a plus


Compensation: This is a full time position with a schedule from Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. A competitive salary from $13 to $18 DOE and an employee benefit program. Benefits include: insurance (health, dental, vision, and life), 401 (K) plan with company contribution, Sick and PTO time, Holiday pay, FSA savings plans, Commissions (which are available after a 60 or 90 days introductory period).
